Researchers have found 15 new cosmic whistles unlike any detected before
The source is a dwarf galaxy 3 billion light years away. A team of researchers from the Breakthrough Listen initiative has detected 15 new fast radio bursts, flashes of energy that we pick up as radio chirps. All 15 of these signals came from a single source — FRB 121102, the only FRB to ever repeat .
